Free Parish Website is a free tool from Briefcase Marketing LLC, 3304 Easton Road, Norton OH 44203. It builds a mockup: a preview of a new homepage for a Catholic parish, made from the parish's own public website pages. A mockup is not a live website. Each parish website has one mockup at a time, and a new email doesn't start another. If the mockup is removed with "Remove this mockup", or deleted after 30 days, the parish can ask for a new one. Your current site stays as it is, and the mockup goes only to the email you enter.
To ask for a mockup you tick a box confirming that the parish has authorized you to ask for it, and you give permission, for the parish, to copy its public words and photos from its website to build the mockup. The tool won't start without it. We record the time you ticked it and the version of these Terms. If a parish tells us a request wasn't authorized, we remove the mockup once the parish confirms it, as described under "Remove my parish".
The headline, the line under it and the section headings are written by AI and checked automatically. Mass and confession times, addresses, phone numbers and other details are copied from your own pages by software, and the tool doesn't read your bulletin. Please check every detail on the mockup before you rely on it.
Your parish's words and photos stay your parish's. The permission above lets us copy them, from the parish's public pages and from photos you upload, to build and show your mockup, and for no other purpose. If you upload photos, the parish confirms that it has the right to use them, that everyone who can be recognized in them has agreed (and, for anyone under 18, a parent or guardian), and that they contain nothing illegal. You may use the mockup's words.
We set limits to keep the tool free: 2 rewrites and 20 "Suggest a change" notes per parish (500 characters each, 10 a day), up to 12 uploaded photos of 10 MB or less, and a few new mockups per person and per email each day. We also cap how many new mockups the whole tool makes each day, and the page says so when we've reached it.
We can remove a mockup, stop the tool or decline a request at any time, and we can't promise the tool stays free. It's a free preview, offered as it is.
The $250 a month plan and the $9,500 custom build are separate paid services from Briefcase Marketing LLC. The $250 plan is month to month, with no minimum term. You can stop at any time through the link in your Stripe receipt or the plan page, or, if you pay by invoice, by writing to dan@briefcase.marketing. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid for. You sign up for it on its own page, paying through Stripe, or by invoice if you ask for one. Signing up starts our work, and we don't promise a date for your site to go live. Using this tool doesn't sign you up for either or commit you to anything.
