Remove my parish

To remove one mockup right now, open the mockup and choose "Remove this mockup" under the checklist. It deletes the mockup and its pages, the photos and notes on it, its site files and the email address that asked for it (unless that address asked for another mockup we still hold), and every link to it stops working. Your parish can then ask for a new mockup. It doesn't stop the tool from reading your website.

To remove your parish, write to dan@briefcase.marketing with your parish's name and website address. We then email a short code to the email address your website publishes or, if it publishes none, back to the address you wrote from, if that address is on your website's own domain. We start once a reply that carries the code comes back from that address. If we can't confirm it that way, we call your parish office at the number on your website. Once we've confirmed it, every link to the parish's mockups stops, emails not yet sent are cancelled, and the tool never reads your website again. Within 48 hours after that we delete the mockups, the website data we copied, the photos, the notes and the email addresses of the people who asked for them. If we can't confirm it by email and your website shows no phone number, we can't remove your parish this way. The "Remove this mockup" button on the mockup still removes it, and you can block FreeParishWebsiteBot in your robots.txt.

To remove only your own email address, write to dan@briefcase.marketing from that address. We email a short code back to it. Once your reply with the code comes back and we've confirmed it's from your mailbox, we delete the address and the mockups it asked for within 7 days. If your email provider doesn't sign its mail, we'll ask you to write again from one that does, such as Gmail or Outlook. We keep a scrambled code of the address so we never email it again.

What stays. We keep a short record that your parish website has had a mockup and that you asked us to remove it, so the limits that count a parish's use can't be reset and your request is honored. It has no name or email address in it. We can't delete emails already sent, which stay in the inboxes they went to, the records Brevo and Cloudflare keep of their own work, the page text Anthropic received, which it keeps under its own rules (see Privacy), or, if you signed up for the paid plan, the payment and signup records that Stripe, QuickBooks and we keep for tax and accounting. Your request email stays in our mailbox. You can also block FreeParishWebsiteBot in your robots.txt, and the tool follows it.
